Cisco 3825 NM slots: Router crashed and reboot relentlessly

I just realized that Cisco 3825 actually has only 2 NM slots, it appeared to have 3 NM slots but only slot 1 and slot 2 have an internal connector, the third unnumbered slot only has a bracket within.

My Cisco 3825 crashed, perhaps my NMs did not installed properly….I am not sure.

Slot 1 was NM-8A/S

Slot 2 was NM-4A/S

I swapped the position:

Slot 1 is NM-4A/S

Slot 2 is NM-8A/S

Here’s the output while router is rebooting:

Cisco 3825 (revision 1.2) with 224256K/37888K bytes of memory.

2 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
12 Low-speed serial(sync/async) interfaces
1 Channelized (E1 or T1)/PRI port
1 Virtual Private Network (VPN) Module
DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity enabled.
479K bytes of NVRAM.
250200K bytes of ATA System CompactFlash (Read/Write)

NM is extended, instead of recognizing serial NMs individually the total number of ports were combined.
